Madhatter DC

Madhatter, an Alice in Wonderland themed bar & restaurant, requested our first permanent installation. They had previously hosted our projections several times at another venue they owned (Vagabond). They requested we try ceiling projection in their space.

When we saw their white diamond cathedral ceilings in the main dining room, we knew we had to fill those diamonds with video. We designed a unique diamond-tiled mapping. Using larger, brighter projectors, we really made their ceiling pop on dance nights.

We also installed projectors to cover a high, long wall in their bar area, including mapping into the eyes of their Cheshire Cat mural.

We've worked with the team at Madhatter to come up with videos that matched the Wonderland theme, along with several seasonal content packs.

We also included an easy-to-use touchscreen server, allowing their staff to control/change the visuals as needed.

​

This installation is currently active, and you can see it running most Thurs-Sun evenings.
