Celebration at Trade

To celebrate his success on King of Drag Season 1, King Molasses contacted us asking if we could set up a projection installation for a celebration at Trade DC's new expansion (called the Shark Tank).

We had worked with Molasses in the past and already had some great green screen footage of him from other projects. Molasses requested a 90s grunge cozy shag-rug living room vibe, and we edited together a whole crowd of Molasses dancing and rolling around in them, along with 90s throwback footage to complete the vibe.

For the venue, we set up projectors covering all four walls of the space, plus a hanging screen we set up in the entry way. Using a combination of short and long through projectors, we set up a mesmerizing tribute to Molasses' many achievements.
