Permanent Interactive Installation
We had worked with the Transmission team before at their previous venue (618 Lounge), and when they acquired their new space, they immediately approached us to collaborate on a permanent installation.
Together we came up with a vision for a special projections room fully covering all four walls (one of them being a curvy curtain). We mapped a tiled-mosaic design to allow all four walls to interlock together seamlessly, accounting for odd curves and shapes in the space.
We also wanted to make this installation interactive, so we provided a wall-mounted touchscreen tablet to allow patrons to control the visuals, selecting between hundreds of presets that we preloaded onto the system. Guests immediately flocked to this after it was up and running, and it's proven to be a very popular feature.
We also provide several expanded options for parties/artists in the space, including generating unique content for their theme/party, or even adding projectors in other spaces in the venue.
This installation is currently active, and is located on the 2nd floor of Transmission. You can see it running most Friday and Saturday evenings.
